Fala Aí, the magazine of the Portuguese program at the University of Georgia, is a student-led magazine that deals with issues related to the Lusophone-world. Click here to access the first issue of Fala aí.

With content that is created collaboratively among people in the countries that speak Portuguese, and the United States, the goal of this magazine is to expand on the experience that students have in the classroom.

The expression Fala Aí, in Portuguese, is an informal expression that could be translated into something like 'speak up' in English.  It is generally used in a friendly manner among people when they want someone to add their contribution to the conversation. And that is exactly what we want Fala Aí to be: a 'public conversation' of/ in which UGA professors, the community and, most importantly, our students take part.

Please, enjoy this magazine and let us know what you think about it.

And if you want to contribute to the magazine, please, do not hesitate to contact us at falaai@uga.edu.
