Portuguese

Gabriela Werner is one of the new Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistants (FLTA) at the University of Georgia. She holds a B. A. – Teaching License in English Language and Literature Studies from the Federal University of Technology – Paraná (UTFPR). She has been an English as a second language (ESL) and Portuguese as an additional language (PAL) teacher since 2018. Her research interests include culture studies within teaching-learning contexts and instructional materials. She is passionate about Brazilian culture and is glad to share some of it during the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters.
