Are you passionate about French language and culture? Join our vibrant community of scholars celebrating Francophone excellence!

Goals of Pi Delta Phi
  • To recognize outstanding scholarship in French language and literature
  • To further Americans' knowledge and admiration of France's contributions to world culture
  • To encourage cultural activities leading to a deeper appreciation of Francophone cultures
Membership Requirements
  • Undergraduate Students
    • At least second-year standing in a UGA degree program
    • Completed one French course beyond FREN 2002
    • Minimum 3.3 GPA overall and 3.0 GPA in French
  • Graduate Students
    • Completed two graduate-level French courses
    • Minimum 3.5 GPA in graduate coursework
To apply for membership, fill out and submit this application by November 1st.
