Total Hours Required for this Degree: 30

Twenty-seven hours of elective courses and three hours of ROML 7300 are required for the M.A. in Romance Languages. A minimum of twelve of the twenty-seven hours must be in French and Spanish linguistics. See the Graduate Handbook for additional information on this program.

REQUIRED COURSES (18 HOURS)

Choose six courses in FREN or SPAN language and linguistics. FREN/ROML 7700 or SPAN 7750 is required. 

ELECTIVE COURSES (9 HOURS)

Electives are other graduate FREN, SPAN and ROML courses. Up to two graduate courses with another prefix, such as LING or LLED, may be included if approved by the major professor in consultation with the members of the student's advisory committee.
