Meg is from Holden Beach, North Carolina and received her Bachelor's and Master's degree in linguistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is now a fifth-year Ph.D. student at UGA with research interests in sociolinguistics, forensic linguistics and indigenous languages. Meg has taught classes in linguistics and Spanish.
