Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant

I hold a B.A. in English and Portuguese from the University of Sao Paulo and now am a Fulbright FLTA for the 2024-2025 academic year.

In the past five years, I have been teaching Portuguese and English at the Center of Languages of my home university. Additionally, I worked with Celpe-Bras preparation courses and other language proficiency exams. My research interests include, but are not limited to, applied linguistics with a focus on language education, teaching materials and proficiency.

My formative reads are Grande Sertão: Veredas by Guimarães Rosa, and Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy.
