The event offers an opportunity to reveal the distinct and plural Brazilian regions. From the charms of the beauties of the North to the cultural vibrancy of the Northeast, passing through the exuberance of the Central-West, South, and Southeast, we will explore the geographic, cultural, and linguistic singularities that make each region unique.
Brazilian Portuguese has its own pronunciation, structure, and vocabulary that can be traced back to the influence of African enslavement by colonial Portugal in Brazil. In this workshop, you will learn the specifics of the pronunciation of Brazilian Portuguese while also learning how it came to be and its relation to Afro-Brazilian culture.
