Dr. Correa-Diaz has research and teaching interests in Latin American & Spanish Poetry, Critical Theory and Cultural Studies, Human Rights, Science (cosmology) and Literature, and Digital Humanities. He is the author of 1) Novissima Verba: huellas digitales y cibernética en la poesía latinoamericana (RIL Editores/Academia Chilena de la Lengua); 2) Cervantes y/en (las) Américas: mapa de campo y ensayo de bibliografía razonada; 3) Una historia apócrifa de América: el arte de la conjetura histórica de Pedro Gómez Valderrama; 4) Todas las muertes de Pinochet: Notas literarias para una biografía crítica, and 5) Lengua muerta: Poesía, post-literatura & erotismo en Enrique Lihn. Editor of "Poesía digital / electrónica latinoamericana: muestrario creativo y crítico." Co-editor (with Scott Weintraub) of 1) "Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese Literature in the Digital Age (New Technologies and the Literary), 2) Huidobro's Futurity. 21st-Century Critical Approaches / La futuridad absoluta de Vicente Huidobro, 3) Poesía y poéticas digitales/tecnos/multimedia en América Latina: Definiciones y Exploraciones [e-book by Universidad Central, Colombia]; and (with Silvia Nagy-Zekmi) of Arte de vivir: acercamientos críticos a la poesía de Pedro Lastra. Other publications include guest-editions, anthologies, book chapters, articles, notes, reviews, and poems in collective books and several refereed journals in Latin America, Europe and the United States. He has lectured in many universities in the United States, England, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Spain, and Germany. He has been Visiting Professor at the Universidad de Concepción (Chile), University of Liverpool, Universidad de Playa Ancha (Valparaíso, Chile), the State University of New York-Albany, and Writer in Residence at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
