PhD Candidate, Hispanic Linguistics, Teaching Assistant of Spanish

I am a PHD candidate in Hispanic linguistics. The topic of my dissertation is about predicate fronting in Spanish and Chinese.

My areas of interest include syntactic movement, left periphery structure, the syntax and pragmatics of predicate fronting, semantic feature, and pragmatic theory.

I love food and I am passionate about cooking. I sing, I sew and I cross stitch. I am fascinated by nature.

I served as a Chinese instructor for the STARTALK program (National Security Agency and National Foreign Language Center).

My dream for the future is to be able to teach Chinese, keep doing research in hispanic linguistics, and at the same time, have my own taller so that I can cut fabric and make clothes.
