Seven Romance Languages Graduate Students Receive 2025 Outstanding Teaching Award

The Center for Teaching and Learning recognizes the significant contributions graduate students make to the instructional mission of the University of Georgia through Teaching Awards sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Instruction. This year, graduate students Elisa Braga (PhD student in Portuguese), Allonah Ezro-Christy (PhD student in Romance Languages), Fabio Mariano (PhD student in Portuguese), Marcela Garza (PhD candidate in Spanish), Rocío Jiménez Segura (PhD student in Hispanic Linguistics), Mario Juarez Sanchez (PhD in Hispanic Linguistics), and Priscilla Scarpaci (PhD student in French) were recognized with this honor. 

Recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Teaching Award were formally recognized at the Annual Spring Teaching Celebration, which was held on Wednesday, April 9, in the Victor K. Wilson Ballroom in Memorial Hall.
